PTI nominates Omar Ayub for Pakistan PM post

In the wake of last week's elections in Pakistan, Omar Ayub has been nominated as the Prime Minister candidate by Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. 

Omar Ayub, hailing from a notable political lineage as the grandson of Pakistan's former President and Field Marshal Ayub Khan. Having debuted in the National Assembly during the 2002 elections, he later served in Shaukat Aziz's cabinet as the state minister for finance. 

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has nominated Shehbaz Sharif, a former Prime Minister and the brother of Nawaz Sharif, as their contender for the prime ministerial position. With his political pedigree and anticipated support from influential quarters, Shehbaz Sharif is poised to lead a coalition government, navigating Pakistan through uncertain times.
